Confirmed: Corexit Still Being Sprayed in the Gulf

Orange Beach Alabama Officials Confirm 66 PPM of Corexit still being found in state waters

Veteran chemist Bob Naman says that Corexit is still being sprayed in the Gulf, and that he found 13.3 parts per million in Cotton Bayou, Alabama. Orange Beach AL officials say they are now finding Corexit in state waters up to 66 parts per million.

The State of Alabama has filed charges against BP and Transocean for several issues including covering up the the nature, size and extent of the BP Gulf Oil Spill and for using dangerous toxic chemical dispersants along with many other things.

In Sarasota, south of Tampa, “The phones are buzzing at the Sarasota Emergency Management Department with callers reporting oil in area waters,” according to the Herald Tribune. “But investigators are finding nothing out of the ordinary,” Ed McCrane, director of Sarasota County Emergency Management, told the Tribune.

Once again independent water samples have astonishingly high amounts of oil and contradict EPA statements. This time one of the samples actually exploded when a chemist test it for oil, most likely due to a high level of methane or Corexit.

Discovery News now confirms that a massive 1,600 mile dead zone has been created in the Gulf of Mexico and evidence points to the BP Gulf Oil Spill as the cause. The scientists monitoring the zone indicated the dead zone could extend along the entire intercontinental shelf from Louisiana all the way to Florida.
