How To Cross The US Mexico Border Illegally

The news if full of headlines about the controversy over the Arizona Immigration Law SB 1070 which just had key parts blocked by a federal judge.
Regardless of the Judge’s ruling widespread protests over the law have broke out leading to the arrest of over 71 people and Arizona has appealed the decision.
While that nation is gripped in the controversy over the bill the fact still remains that the law only addresses the symptoms and does nothing to solve the real problem – ANYONE CAN EASILY CROSS THE US MEXICO BORDER ILLEGALLY.
To demonstrate simply open up Google Earth and zoom into the US Mexico border in Arizona and start looking at the photos in Google Earth.
In just a short period of time I found several photos of breaches in the fence along the border and several locations where the fencing is simply inadequate.
There are even photos in Google Earth that show the Federal Government knows about the holes in the fencing and instead of repairing them it has chose to place signage instead.

Instead of repairing damage border fence at along Mexico Border officials have put up a warning sign - Click For Map
I even found locations where I could drive a car across the border.
So here we have several points vulnerable to illegal immigration and upon further inspection we find even more information that can be used to cross the border illegally such as the location of border cameras and the location of border patrol.
There are even several abandoned houses marked along the border that can be used as shelter for illegals crossing the border.
According to US Illegal Aliens the cost of illegal immigrations to the US economy is hundreds of billions of dollars and the major problem is the lack of border security and border fence.
As detailed throughout the previous sections of this report, much of the problem of illegal aliens is a direct consequence of little to no border security. If nothing else, proper border security would prevent all the “previously deported” illegal aliens from simply returning and committing more of the collateral damage. Remember, some estimates put previously deported illegal aliens as being responsible for 60-65% of many of the crimes. Just eliminating that would be worth the expense.
…
If closing the borders and enforcing immigration laws are not important to you then I would suggest you go get the movies United 93, True Lies, and The Peacemaker from Blockbuster or NetFlix. In these movies Hollywood actually got it right, and is almost prophetic in True Lies. Then read Osama’s exploits south of border -AlQaida in league with Mexican radicals in plot to penetrate U.S., says MI6 report and No place to run and consider some of the more serious consequences of open borders in a post 9/11 world.
If you still need some convincing, go back up to the TERRORISM, VIOLENT CRIMES, SEXUAL CRIMES, GANG CRIMES, and DISEASES sections and start clicking on the references and links. If you are a “bottom line” person go to the SUMMARY of COSTS of ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION section and start figuring out how much of the costs are being paid by you and your family.
As this paper has documented, the borders are very porous and any meaningful border security is basically non-existent across much of our borders making it a fairly simple process to break into the United States. Millions of peasants are doing it now. How tough do you think it would be for trained terrorists?
Illegal Immigrants Crossing Weak Spots Along US Mexico Border
Even Arizona Governor Jan Brewer admits the new immigration law will not help with border security because as clearly pointed out the problem is with border security and the border fence.
Republican Gov. Jan Brewer says that the enforcement of Arizona’s controversial new immigration law may not help to increase security along the state’s border with Mexico.
Brewer was asked about what results she expects to see from the measure’s implementation on Thursday in an appearance on CNN’s “John King USA.”
“You know, I’m not quite sure about that,” she responded when presented with the question of whether the new law will boost border security.
“I think — well, not along the border,” explained the Arizona Governor. “I think it would help in telling people that it is illegal to come into the state of Arizona, which it already is, but it’s just not being enforced. And so if they use it, the states themselves were going to enforce it, that certainly would maybe give people pause before they came running and crossed the border.”
…
The American Border Patrol is a non profit Government watch dog monitoring the billions of dollars that Congress has appropriated to congress and they point out that while Homeland Security has been charged with constructing a border fence they have done an inadequate job and lied about the work they claim to have done.
Even the walls that have been built are questionable.
As Arizona Minute Men point out along a portion of the wall constructed in Mexico, US officials purposely installed at least a dozen tunnels beneath border fencing reportedly to allow rain runoff to drain beneath the dirt road that runs along the fence.
However those tunnels where not closed off with steel bars and illegal immigrants and drug smugglers can simply crawl through those tunnels.
So the question that remains is are politicians serious about dealing with the illegal immigration problem or is the controversy over the Arizona immigration law and comprehensive immigration law just another ploy by a deceptive government to keep us divided?
Remember… United We Stand, Divided We Fall!

Disclaimer In response to Maju’s let me be clear.
I myself am half minority and I am told that my father may have been illegal, unfortunately he abandoned me before I was born so I have never had the pleasure of meeting him.
The point of this post is not to take sides on the immigration issue itself but to point out the immigration issue is one that is manufactured by the Government to pit us against one another.
Instead of dealing with the issue the Government forces us to fight with one another do we remain divided and allow the Government to continue the cycle of abuse, oppression, and violation of our civil liberties.
For example, in addition to manufactured immigration issue we are forced to spend billions of dollars and lose tens of thousands of innocent lives every year in the war on drugs while allowing drug cartels to smuggle millions of tons of drug across a insecure border every year.
Yes that includes the Canadian border as well.

I find this post kind of surreptitiously xenophobic. After all that’s how the US slavists got into Texas, which used to be part of Mexico: by means of illegal immigration largely. And from the viewpoint of Native Americans and their polities all Europeans were illegal immigrants or something like that.
Let’s face it: “donde las dan las toman”, roughly: you take what you give.
And let’s face it from this other viewpoint: we live in an extremely globalized World, where borders and even governments are pretty much meaningless, specially for Big Capital. People is going to try to migrate to wherever they believe they can live better (or less badly). The only way to solve it would be by effective democratization and wealth distribution (socialism) everywhere, as well as addressing all those huge environmental problems in some cases at least at the root of economical emigration.
In other words, we’d need a much better world because you can’t cage the Ocean and by that I mean the Ocean of impoverished human multitudes. In a sense it’s like thermodynamics: gases and fluids flow following some laws and so does humankind, in our case it’s the law of money and comparative life quality expectations. Inversely, even if you could wall off the immigrants, that you probably cannot, you’d be in a situation of Capital migrating off to where the immigrants stayed, Mexico for instance, in search of cheap labor and less regulations.
So it’s really incontrollable: it’s just the other side of the coin of neocolonialism. Live with it.

Ok. I got the impression that it was an argumentation of the kind of “let’s make a bigger and better ‘Great Wall’ from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific”. It seems I got you wrong. Anyhow, if I got to follow this your blog it was because it looked pretty nice (progressive, critical, very informative) – so kind of got me perplex this article… the way I understood it originally.
Anyhow, all this made me recall this BBC article I read a couple of days ago (viva the search tools!) about how, while Ciudad Juárez is rotten by crime, just across the border, the US city of El Paso is one of the safest in all The States.
Cheers and my apologies for taking you wrong.

We have the technology to install automated machine gun towers along the border that would destroy any human or vehicle that comes within 600 yards. A series of towers with interlocking fields of fire spaced every 200 yards or so would be a tremendous preventative to this problem. It is only a lack of political will (and political dishonesty) that prevents an effective system such as this from begin deployed.

A fence is stupid. They just rope ladder or tunnel it. the border patrol is possibly the most inept group of barneys to ever put on a uniform. Many are corrupt and assist crossing for money and smuggling. Many have been caught and in jail. They cruise around the desert sleep in their cars and harrass honest people. I crossed at Mexicali yesterday and I saw about 29 boys jump the fence about 50 feet from the border. I was sent to secondary inspection and after about an hour and a half was cleared. Many senior citizens and families being searched. The bP customs were old fat dudes and fat ugly chicks..A real joke.
If it is so fuking important, which it is, Why isn’t our military protecting it like every other country in the word. Much more efficient and much much cheaper. They do a great job now protecting iraq’s border.
why is the BP and customs looking for drugs anyway …they are supposed to collect duty on imports which they never do.
It is so retarded and stupid that it makes me wonder if it is by design. Billions and billions of dollars.
Just for fun I have crossed in the night, it’s too easy those dorks could’nt catch my bald headed granny.

How many undocumented immigrants have taken your jobs away? How many have commited a violent crime to you or anyone you know? The truth is theyre millions of dollars earned every year by undocumented workers who receive nothing at all. They work here in the US most of their adult life and never receive retirement or from their false social security. Why dont you guys admit you are greedy and just bitch and moan about stupid shit. Are immigrants really a threat to you or your life style? You went to school and speak the english language… Why do you want to work picking strawberries? To make it easy for you, how many of you would go
To another country if our country was
Corrupted, dangerous and poor? Everyone here know that immigrants stay away from all of us. All they do is work and go home and go to sunday church. The latinos you see in the streets are not undocumented. Thats why they’re not hiding. You fucken racist mother fuckers…

Jay i am also a born citizen and also armed… If i see you with your weapon drawn i will make a citizen arrest on your ass!! Why dont you go to the middle east and look for bin laden instead of accusing all immigrants for trafficking Drugs..? Now you believe jihadist will be crossing our borders ilegally… With his bombs and shit? Terrortist have legit visas and would Rather fly on a plane then hi jack and blow up on our homeland.. Believe me they are not planning on crossing a dessert
By foot. I really hope get people together and march with your weapons. Easier for me to target you and take you to justice.
Dont get me wrong i also want to secure our borders but there is a right way and a racist way. I dont see how we can blow this out of poportion. How can we say those poor and hungry immigrants are the enemy? Why not push our goverment to fight the cartels? Do you really think marching with your guns is going to make our country safer? Or is that excuse to continue shooting civilians like your gang LAPD does. I feel sorry for all you with a weak state of mind. I suggest you brainstorm your opinions before mouthing shit that is racist, shameful, and most of all un american!!! You guys belong in a comunist country not here!

I totally agree with you. There is no reason to bitch about the undocumented worker that does all the jobs that legal Americans don’t want to do. Also while the real problem is unemployment in this country all the Americans sit at home collecting their checks and then point fingers at the Mexican man or woman that is working and working wherever there is work to be done regardless of the circumstances. If all the people that are at home collecting unemployment got their ass up and worked any job the economy would recover somewhat. America is very racist and lazy…the only Americans that I respect are those serving overseas…as for the rest of you lazy ass Americans that don’t want to work because you are so picky and require so many accommodations…next time you see the Mexican man going to work ask him if you can come along…earn your money!

I read this and it sickens me in parts. People of Mexico are coming to this country for different reasons then they use to. They are coming here to live a life with their family that has many similar hopes and dreams as we the American people born here.
We are all human beings, we should live knowing that there but the grace of God go many of us and hold out a hand and help others instead of being ready to shoot them or blame them for every wrong or issue we have here in this country.
Our issues are mainly from our own crooked politics and issues we’ve had all along that keep building and building but everyone wants to sweep under the rug.
Issues like not being able to get the truth from a politician straight up until they talk to their “advisors” or there being more concern over statements being “politically correct” instead of honest and correct.
I live in a Arizona, my new house depreciated 50% in the past few years since purchase, it is not their fault but rather the government.
You want to clean things up, go to a flat tax system where EVERYONE pays “x” amount of oney on a dollar and do away with personal income tax of any kind filed yearly, just take the SAME amount across the board from everyone rich or poor and don’t give the businesses or the rich loop holes to slip through
and speaking of loop holes, has anyone ever bothered to look at some of the huge bank issues? My boyfriend is doing his MBA and he had to investigate a well known banks papers and public records
while this bit national bank funnels their money through an old Colorado loophole, they claim on their IRS forms they LOST money and got back BILLIONS from our IRS who says they have no money either, but then, the bank in question, gave their officers and their board millions of dollars in bonuses… their CEO got over 9 million in one year
THAT is why we are having issues here in this country
There are hundreds of stories like that one, true stories, so please, before you point the finger at people…lets look to changing these laws and making our country independent and honest again
lets feed, shelter educate and take care of our own before spending trillions bailing everyone else out around the world
lets find a solution to open the borders from Mexico, since we can’t effectively keep them shut anyway and work with people to find a peaceful solution for the people living in America first, then we can branch out to help care for others

Said bank COULD have taken all that windfall of money they got ‘legally’ following bad laws still on the books, and spread it out to their customers who are either in foreclosure or short sales or sticking it out as long as they can hoping there is a turn-around soon.
Their CEO is already making enough money that 10 average families could live on a year, that he didn’t need 9 million more…. maybe its all “Legal” by the laws and books, but its not right and we all know it
Be part of the solution, CHANGE the laws, make people accountable and responsible and bring honest and integrity back to our country.

haha that’s funny because if you were separated from your family it would not be the same. GOD brought all of US into his world, I don’t believe good people should have to suffer over things that are not fear decisions in Court that is ruled by human not GOD. This is GOD world and I can tell you more than you think you know. In my situation things are different and a innocent person went down for no reason. My mother, Father, Sisters, Nieces, Nephews,Aunts, teachers, Pastors, and other good American Citizen suffer from my absent in the country. IS that fear for everyone to suffer for me. I am a innocent person who suffer in other country for something never did. If you are a good person from heart you help me back out. Dude I’m just like you and the rest of good Americans.
