The news if full of headlines about the controversy over the Arizona Immigration Law SB 1070 which just had key parts blocked by a federal judge.
Regardless of the Judge’s ruling widespread protests over the law have broke out leading to the arrest of over 71 people and Arizona has appealed the decision.
While that nation is gripped in the controversy over the bill the fact still remains that the law only addresses the symptoms and does nothing to solve the real problem – ANYONE CAN EASILY CROSS THE US MEXICO BORDER ILLEGALLY.
To demonstrate simply open up Google Earth and zoom into the US Mexico border in Arizona and start looking at the photos in Google Earth.
In just a short period of time I found several photos of breaches in the fence along the border and several locations where the fencing is simply inadequate.
There are even photos in Google Earth that show the Federal Government knows about the holes in the fencing and instead of repairing them it has chose to place signage instead.
I even found locations where I could drive a car across the border.
So here we have several points vulnerable to illegal immigration and upon further inspection we find even more information that can be used to cross the border illegally such as the location of border cameras and the location of border patrol.
There are even several abandoned houses marked along the border that can be used as shelter for illegals crossing the border.
According to US Illegal Aliens the cost of illegal immigrations to the US economy is hundreds of billions of dollars and the major problem is the lack of border security and border fence.
As detailed throughout the previous sections of this report, much of the problem of illegal aliens is a direct consequence of little to no border security. If nothing else, proper border security would prevent all the “previously deported” illegal aliens from simply returning and committing more of the collateral damage. Remember, some estimates put previously deported illegal aliens as being responsible for 60-65% of many of the crimes. Just eliminating that would be worth the expense.

If closing the borders and enforcing immigration laws are not important to you then I would suggest you go get the movies United 93, True Lies, and The Peacemaker from Blockbuster or NetFlix. In these movies Hollywood actually got it right, and is almost prophetic in True Lies. Then read Osama’s exploits south of border -AlQaida in league with Mexican radicals in plot to penetrate U.S., says MI6 report and No place to run and consider some of the more serious consequences of open borders in a post 9/11 world.
If you still need some convincing, go back up to the TERRORISM, VIOLENT CRIMES, SEXUAL CRIMES, GANG CRIMES, and DISEASES sections and start clicking on the references and links. If you are a “bottom line” person go to the SUMMARY of COSTS of ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION section and start figuring out how much of the costs are being paid by you and your family.
As this paper has documented, the borders are very porous and any meaningful border security is basically non-existent across much of our borders making it a fairly simple process to break into the United States. Millions of peasants are doing it now. How tough do you think it would be for trained terrorists?
Even Arizona Governor Jan Brewer admits the new immigration law will not help with border security because as clearly pointed out the problem is with border security and the border fence.
Republican Gov. Jan Brewer says that the enforcement of Arizona’s controversial new immigration law may not help to increase security along the state’s border with Mexico.
Brewer was asked about what results she expects to see from the measure’s implementation on Thursday in an appearance on CNN’s “John King USA.”
“You know, I’m not quite sure about that,” she responded when presented with the question of whether the new law will boost border security.
“I think — well, not along the border,” explained the Arizona Governor. “I think it would help in telling people that it is illegal to come into the state of Arizona, which it already is, but it’s just not being enforced. And so if they use it, the states themselves were going to enforce it, that certainly would maybe give people pause before they came running and crossed the border.”

The American Border Patrol is a non profit Government watch dog monitoring the billions of dollars that Congress has appropriated to congress and they point out that while Homeland Security has been charged with constructing a border fence they have done an inadequate job and lied about the work they claim to have done.
Even the walls that have been built are questionable.
As Arizona Minute Men point out along a portion of the wall constructed in Mexico, US officials purposely installed at least a dozen tunnels beneath border fencing reportedly to allow rain runoff to drain beneath the dirt road that runs along the fence.
However those tunnels where not closed off with steel bars and illegal immigrants and drug smugglers can simply crawl through those tunnels.
So the question that remains is are politicians serious about dealing with the illegal immigration problem or is the controversy over the Arizona immigration law and comprehensive immigration law just another ploy by a deceptive government to keep us divided?
Remember… United We Stand, Divided We Fall!
I myself am half minority and I am told that my father may have been illegal, unfortunately he abandoned me before I was born so I have never had the pleasure of meeting him.
The point of this post is not to take sides on the immigration issue itself but to point out the immigration issue is one that is manufactured by the Government to pit us against one another.
Instead of dealing with the issue the Government forces us to fight with one another do we remain divided and allow the Government to continue the cycle of abuse, oppression, and violation of our civil liberties.
For example, in addition to manufactured immigration issue we are forced to spend billions of dollars and lose tens of thousands of innocent lives every year in the war on drugs while allowing drug cartels to smuggle millions of tons of drug across a insecure border every year.
Yes that includes the Canadian border as well.
