Live Blogging – Breaking News: Video of new massive leak on Gulf oil spill seafloor much larger than any of the leaks we have seen so far.
I am live video blogging footage of the BP Live Video Feed Webcam of Gulf Oil Spill as new event is unfolds right now!!
A new massive huge leak was captured in the background of the ROV working during BP’s set up of the LMRP.
These events are unfolding live now. I will post live video updates here as the event unfolds.

7:52 PM More video footage of the ROV diamond cut saw cutting away at the BOP riser kink pipes.
7:48 PM Here is some video footage of the ROV cutting away at the pipes on the Gulf oil spill BOP riser kink pipes.
7:43 PM ROV is now cutting at the BOP riser pipes with the diamond cut saw blade. Here is a screen shot.

7:23 PM A large increase in the amount of oil shooting from the BOP rise kink has caused the ROV to move back from the pipe.
7:19 PM Here’s the video of the Gulf ROV working to remove the pipes from BOP riser kink.

4:02 PM Here’s something weird that is flashing on and off of the multi-screeen bp live oil spill camera. It looks like the riser pipe is sticking up out of a crater. To bad it is way to small to really make out what it really is. (You can still click to enlarge)

1:04 PM A sign from above? There is a cross in the latest footage of the BP oil spill live webcam video feed footage on the Gulf oil spill seafloor.
6:18 AM Pretty much the same activity as in the last video. If you didn’t know it already TOP kill has failed. What’s the next plan from BP? To let the Gulf oil spill leak until august while it uses a glorified siphon to try to capture some oil so it can sell it. 5:49 AM The Gulf oil spill Main riser pipe leak has seemed to settle down after the massive amounts of oil where just shooting from riser pipe.

5:19 AM BP has now switched the public feed back to the riser pipe leak.

5:10 AM The ROV has just reached its destination. It looks like it maybe cutting the BOP riser. Not sure what it is cutting actually but there is definitely a torch cutting something.
4:447 AM The Live feed just came back online. Nothing interesting yet. The ROV is now diving. It appears that it was taken to the surface for some tools or modifications. Will start recording again when the interesting stuff starts.

2:55 AM Looks like this story is done… for now. BP has killed the public feed.
1:42 AM It looks like they have seen it and aren’t going to switch back. Right now an ROV seems to be carrying some materials for the LMRP operation. Here is a screen shot of the current camera view.
1:21 AM BP is really annoying. Whenever something exciting start happening they hide it from the public. This is what has been on the screen for the last 10 minutes or so.

12:49 AM Now an underwater mushroom cloud is coming from the Gulf oil spill BOP riser Kinks. The ROV bots are really busy.
12:39AM I am not sure what is going on but after the series of massive explosions two days ago that appeared to have blown a huge whole in the BOP and the explosions yesterday that brought BP’s topkill operation to a halt the situation on the Gulf oil spill seafloor has seem to got worse.
This video of an ROV shows a huge new leak the seems to be at least a few wide coming up from a trench on the seafloor.
I am not sure what this leak is or where it could be coming from but it is huge. It was captured in the background of an ROV working on the LMRP setup, which is BP’s next step for containing the oil on the Gulf seafloor and will leave the oil leaking until August.

Instead of collecting oil from the top of the blowout preventer via the LMRP process, why not inject "mud" into the top of the BOP after the riser pipe has been removed followed up by cement. This is a variation to the original topkill procedure. In the original topkill process mud was introdced via two ports somewhere on the side of the BOP. This left the mud with two directions of flow….out into the sea via the damaged portions of the BOP, and down the hole into the seabed. It seems to me that injection of mud then cement from atop the BOP were the riser pipe was prior to removal would allow for more material and force to be driven down and into the borehole into the seabed. Does this make sense to you?
It certainly does. If you ask me topkill was just BP getting an accurate measurement of pressure so they could design a device that would capture oil that they can sell.
I feel that they are not concerned at all with trying to cap the leaking well.
This site is a gold mine for them and they don’t want to lose it.
They have shown time and time again that have no problem being reckless, causing damage to the environment and taking human lives to increase their profits.
Tony Hayward even said he is not losing any sleep over the Gulf oil spill and that it will lead BP to record profits

I agree they are not trying to cap the well they tried a half ass job to top kill it and as we all saw they made no progress at all. if they cap cut the pipe then why cant try for a top kill with no leaks WTF do they think we are stupid there still trying to get the oil out of the ground to pay for the clean up and pay for the rig that blew up and the peoples lives they destroyed and even then they are not giving people a fraction of what they lost.
As I said in the other post, closing off a damaged well is risky in that if the underground pipe was weakened by the riser pipe collapse, stopping the flow could build up tremendous pressure at the top of the well that could explode the pipe underground and cause oil to percolate through the sea floor with no hope of controlling the leak except for approaching it from deep underground; the relief wells.
Apparently this may have happened, judging from all these videos. In retrospect, top kill may have been a terrible idea. Siphoning as much oil as possible may be the only option left until they can get the relief wells drilled by August.
