If you haven’t noticed, I have stopped posting updated NOAA maps of the Gulf Oil Spill.

Why? Because they are entirely inaccurate and only continue to perpetuate misinformation about the true size and extent of the Gulf oil spill which a growing chorus of independent scientists are saying is within the range of 60,000 to 100,000 barrels of oil per day.

However, in order to maintain a record of the lies that continue to be pushed out to the main stream media by corrupt Federal Government agencies I will once again publish another exhibit.

This is not to establish the fact that BP and the government is lying about extent of the gulf oil spill, but to show that the Obama administration continues to allow such lies and misinformation to be spread to the public even after vowing to split up and restructure the corrupt Federal MMS agency who’s negligence precipitated the Gulf Oil Spill.

Exhibit 1: Gulf Oil Spill Map Provided by NOAA For May 16th.
Gulf Oil Spill Map Forecast May 16th Still Inaccurate

Notice the extent of the impacted area is no where near the Alabama or Mississippi Coast
Exhibit 2: Several Local Government agency reports conflict with the Government data shown on NOAA Map above
From the NYTimes among hundreds of other media sources, the “oil has now contaminated eight beaches in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi.”

I could continue the long list locations oil has been reported, but to do so would be an exercise in futility.

Whether the misrepresentation is intentional or not will be a question that has yet to be revealed.

Whatever the reason, the above documentation serves to show historians who research this event that the data being provided by NOAA, BP and other Government Agencies continue perpetuate falsehood even after the echos that this kind of behavior must and will stop from our elected representatives in Congress and President Obama himself.

If you would like to add more sources out side of the Map of the Gulf Oil Spill being represented by NOAA please fell free to do so.
