Iran has been caught red handed shipping 500,000 lbs of weapons to Hezbollah an anti-Isreal and anti-American terrorists group. Shipping weapons to the terrorists group can be considered and act of war and will likely draw a strong condemnation from leaders around the world. The news also comes on the heals of the news that Iran has been hiding nuclear enrichments facilities for years in violation of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty which bars 189 countries around the world from developing nuclear weapon capacities.
The Jerusalem post reported on October 15th Israel is making preparations to carry out military attacks in Iran after December. Jerusalem has already ordered high-quality combat rations from a French food manufacturer for soldiers serving in elite units and has also asked reservists of these units staying abroad to return to Israel.
Adding further tensions to the situation is Iran’s rejection of a nuclear deal it had negotiated with the US.
IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen said that Israel was not planning to bomb Iran, but might send elite troops to conduct activities on the ground there. The attacks involve the sabotage of nuclear facilities as well as assassinations of top Iranian nuclear scientists.
However those plans may change and Israel may declare an all out war in wake of the recent news that Israel has caught Iran shipping 500,000 lbs of weapons to a the Hezbollah terrorists group that Israel has been battling in the West Bank and Palestine for years.

The photographs show containers bearing the logos of Islamic Republic of Iran’s Shipping Lines (IRISL). Israel said the containers held 500 tons of arms.
Israel also released what it said was a customs form stamped by Iran’s army.
Damascus and Tehran have both denied the weapons were headed for Hezbollah militants in Lebanon, via Syria.
The Antiguan-flagged vessel, Francop, was boarded by Israeli navy personnel near Cyprus on 4 November. It was then taken to the Israeli port of Ashdod and its cargo impounded.

Israel’s military says it has intercepted a ship near Cyprus carrying hundreds of tonnes of Iranian weapons intended for Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Israel said the shipment, found on the Antiguan-flagged vessel Francop, was among the largest ever seized by its forces.

The cargo was unloaded at the Israeli port city of Ashdod. An Israeli military spokesman said the weapons were concealed among civilian goods.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the arms could have been used to strike Israeli cities and urged the international community to put pressure on Iran.

But, speaking on a visit to Iran, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid Muallem said the ship was not carrying Iranian-made weapons and that the cargo comprised Syrian exports to Iran.

Hezbollah also denied Israel’s claims that it was the intended recipient of the arms. A UN-brokered ceasefire which ended a 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah banned the export of arms to the Lebanese organization.

Tensions with Muslim world set stage for Israeli Declaration of War on Iran
At the same time the news of the Iranian weapons shipment being seized by Israel, Hezbollah leaders stepped up anti-American rhetoric calling Obama’s pledge to engage Muslims has turned out to be false. Meanwhile, right wing GOP pundits have been hammering at Obama for not taking a strongly rebuke the recent Fort Hood shootings as an act of terrorism. Bill O’Reilly has even lamented the inability to “kill all the muslims” Tea party rallies have become sparked with an new fire by touting anti-Muslim rhetoric
In Iran Anti-American Protests have broken out with Protestors cheering Death to America Meanwhile, American news media has been trying to down play the Fort Hood Massacre as military on the brink. However it is hard to ignore the Death to America, the Great Satan Protests in Mecca that have spread even to the streets of America and Britain.
The tensions between Islam and the Jewish and Christian worlds is really heating up. It seems almost inevitable that Israel will declare war on Iran. This story is still unfolding by the day. Key developments over the next couple of days will tell whether an official Declaration of War is made by Iran. If a war does break out with Iran the next couple of days will determine what role the United States will play in such a war.

This is your most excellent post so far. Keep up the good work!
Seriously I don’t think Israel is attacking Iran. All analysis points to a no no and evidence are everywhere indicating as such.
If Israel really feels it is capable to do so, it would have done that years agon instead of crying “Wolf” for umpteen years and openly practising air strikes. These are sure signs there would be no attack . .. they are only PR.
Fact is Israel is no match for Iran and it would need the might of US to do the job. Even US would not be able to invade Iran under current troop deployment available and US can ONLY use naval and air force to do the fighting while Iran would dig in their country while sending ground troops from Iraq all the way to Alfganistan on assymetric warefare …thus tying down US forces for decades …while ultimately would bring US down to her knees for want of money to continue.
So as long as US does not do the foolish thing, there is no threat of war with Iran from Israel.
Israel from 1967 war doctrine has always be surprise and short duration war. With Iran this is not possible on both counts.
It would be the end of Israel for sure if without US help.
